Playing Roulette

Roulette is a rather effortless casino game in that winning depends solely on where you place your bets and where the ball lands on the disk. Components of the game include a numbered disk, a small ivory-colored ball, and a roulette table with the betting options displayed neatly on the felt tabletop. The roulette wheel, or disk, has divisions on the outer edge labeled with black and red numbers 1 through 36 in a random fashion. There is also a space for number 0, and on some roulette tables, a 00 too, both of which are colored green. The disk spins counterclockwise and the ball is rolled clockwise around the sides of the disk to determine the winning number. Prior to rolling the ball, players will have the opportunity to place bets of any amount above the minimum threshold on where they think the ball will land. This includes betting on individual numbers, number ranges, number colors, and even or odd numbers. Bets can be placed up until the dealer ends the betting phase once the wheel begins to slow.
